This project is undertaken as part of the professional certificate for UX design program offered by UC Berkeley Extension. Bon Appétit, a prominent food and lifestyle brand, operates a physical magazine and an extensive online blog, covering diverse topics such as recipes, culture, shopping, and cooking. Bon Appétit also produces videos and podcasts and sells products through two separate online stores.
As one of the 26 brands under the umbrella of Condè Nast, Bon Appétit faces challenges with the navigation and organization of its website due to its unique content and multiple taxonomies. The aim of this project is to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and create a more user-friendly information architecture while aligning with the business goals.
